FAQ

Frequently asked questions about WoW Guilds

What is WoW Guilds?

WoW Guilds is a free tool that lets you look up any World of Warcraft guild and instantly see every member's item level, Mythic+ score, PvP ratings, raid progress, and activity status — all in one table.

Where does the data come from?

Guild rosters and PvP ratings come from the official Blizzard API. Mythic+ scores come from Raider.IO, which tracks all logged dungeon runs. We combine both sources to give you the most complete picture.

How often does the data update?

Character stats (item level, M+ score, PvP ratings) refresh every 30 minutes. The guild roster (new members, departures) updates every 6 hours. You can also hit the refresh button on any guild page for an instant update.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is public. Just search for any guild and you get the full roster, stats, and leaderboard instantly.

How do I add my guild?

Just search for it on the home page. If it's not already tracked, we validate it with Blizzard and start syncing automatically. No setup, no signup.

What does the activity status mean?

Each character is either Active or Inactive based on Blizzard's last login timestamp. Active means the character logged in within the last 30 days. Inactive means it's been over 30 days. Important: this is per character, not per account — a player might be active on their main but show inactive on alts they haven't touched.

Is this affiliated with Blizzard?

No. WoW Guilds is an independent fan project. World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. We use publicly available APIs in compliance with their terms of service.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free. No ads, no paywalls, no premium tiers.
